Trauma-Informed yoga
Class Pass / Donation
6:00pm on the second Friday of every month
This is a Slow flow vinyasa class that incorporates mindfulness into the movements to allow students to take ownership of choice and enhance body/mind engagement and enhancement.
“Trauma informed yoga is about choice, safety, and self-agency. It’s NOT about forcing the body into a pose- it’s about learning to listen to the body again. By creating spaces where survivors can move at their own pace and make choices that feel right for them. Yoga becomes more than a
practice, it becomes a tool for healing.”
**All Proceeds will go to SARRSM**

Hanuman chalisa
Suggested donation of $25
4pm on the second Sunday of every month
The Hanuman Chalisa is a timeless ode to the steadfast and loyal Lord Hanuman. Set in 40 verses, chanting the Hanuman Chalisa is considered a powerful practice for removing all kinds of negativity from one's life and giving strength and courage to walk through adversity.
Being a popular kirtan chant you will often have the opportunity to hear this song played, however, if you have never learned it, it can be difficult to sing along.
This offering is for anyone who is interested in learning the Hanuman Chalisa or Chalisa lovers who would like an opportunity to spend some time singing in community.
Each class we will spend part of our time together learning a verse or two with proper pronunciation, then dive into a conversation on translation, context and deeper meaning. We will close each practice by chanting the entire Hanuman Chalisa.
This will be a regular offering on the second Sunday of each month. It is not necessary to come to every class to enjoy the benefits.
No experience necessary.

Throughout the Kirtan, Sri will tell stories related to the cosmic energies of the Vedic gods and goddesses that we are singing about, to give greater context about how we can relate to them.
This practice is accessible to everyone regardless of your perceived ability to sing :)
The vibrations of the harmonium are healing, so even sitting and listening can provide a beautiful experience.
