From a young age, Shannon has always had high energy and an uncontrollable desire for movement. Shannon was actively involved in competitive soccer and dance all throughout high school. After requiring knee surgery in high school, she transitioned to coaching competitive soccer for young girls and continued her commitment to movement as a coach. During this time, Shannon found her passion for teaching others.
It wasn’t until 2018 when Shannon took her 100-hour Barre Teacher training that her spark for teaching was reignited. She loved helping others and enjoyed finding new creative ways to sequence each class. After Barre Teacher training, Shannon began teaching spin classes where she could really let her energy flow.
Shannon is completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training through The Portland Yoga Project in summer 2020, and she enjoys pursuing new and creative ways to move her body. She also runs fitness accountability groups on social media with daily workouts, nutrition, and check-ins.
When Shannon is not teaching she enjoys making healthy meals, planning parties for her friends and walking her two fur-babies. Shannon is also looking forward to her next big adventure of becoming a mom in late summer.
